• Listen first ...

First and foremost, I want to hear about you! I want to know where you’ve been, where you are and where you want to go. It’s important to know where the impulse came from to break out from the ranks of “employee” to business owner. If you offer a service, what made you decide to start your own business?  If you make a product, what was happening in your community that gave you the idea to create it? I want to know where your passion came from to conjure up the strength to become an entrepreneur.

  • What do you need?

That’s right … what do you need?  Maybe your business plan needs a review and you  just want someone to listen to you as you talk it out; or you know exactly what you need but you just don’t know how to get there. There are endless resources online, many promising great results if you subscribe and follow their plan to success in 30-days. Or some that tell business owners what they “must” do, over and over again and it just leaves you in a daze wondering why you even started down this road. We will sit and talk it all out; I’ll give opinions and, if needed, warn you about what to stay away from; but, you will decide on your own path.

  • Make a plan

By this time, you will have a really good idea of what you need to do; but also, what you want to do. Your business is not your master! You are the heart and soul of it, and you need to be comfortable with the goals you set. It speaks to the original “vision and passion” that led you to start your business “adventure”. Give yourself a pat on the back and get back in the game!
