My experience in the print world has taken me from my college yearbook… no, wait, it started much earlier than that. I remember being a member of the stapling crew for my elementary school newspaper, back in the days of hand-crank mimeograph machines. I realize I run the risk on dating myself with that comment, but the goal here is to show you that I’ve been around the block once or twice, and I’ve learned what makes an advertisement work. If you’re going to pay the money, wouldn’t you expect you’d get a positive return? Good, measurable results?
Some businesses advertise just to get “mind-share”, thinking that “if they see my business name, surely they will come to visit me the next time they need a widget.” But what if they don’t need a widget for 6-months, or a year? What to do then?
What if you decided that you wanted to help your customers, and potential customers, break through the barrier of “average” and discover the possibilities of how your widget or service is unique. That you will work with them in this up and down economy to find the path that will work best for them, even if it means they don’t do business with you. Can you afford this type of honesty? Can you not?
All I’m saying, is that if you need advertising that will make a clear statement about what you do, what you offer and how you can help solve someone else’s problem… you need me. So call, lets meet over a cup of coffee and discuss what you need. And yes, even if you decide I’m not the right match.
